About this project

Dear Partners,

Lets join forces together in changing our world and give it a feature of healthy living people by putting smiles on the faces of vulnerable children and keeping them healthy via this great initiative -  Milk Drive.

Milk is a source of potassium, phosphorous , calcium and protein and it is said that many children get too little vitamin D, vitamin E, magnesium, calcium, vitamin A and vitamin C.

Here is a salient fact from WHO(World Health Organisation):

  • An estimated 250 million preschool children are vitamin A deficient and it is likely that in vitamin A deficient areas a substantial proportion of pregnant women is vitamin A deficient.
  • An estimated 250 000 to 500 000 vitamin A-deficient children become blind every year, half of them dying within 12 months of losing their sight.

The InnerCity Mission for Children(ICM4C) is not only responsible for free education, housing, etc of thousand of children living in the inner-cities in Nigeria and other developing nations but has taken up the challenge of incorporating good diet into its free meal scheme through the MILK DRIVE.

It is on this basis, we seek your partnership to collectively achieve this goal.

Thanking you in anticipation of your partnership.
